COPE Student Brian Smith wins 5th Place
In the 2021
ALL-STAR AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY COMPETITION
The 2021 ALL STAR AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY COMPETITION was held on February 18th, at the Automotive Training Center at Midlands Technical College Beltline Campus.
His instructor from COPE, Mr. John Coleman, escorted Brian, a Senior at Branchville HS to this state-wide competition. Brian was tested on 12 test stations, which will encompass the 8 ASE areas under the MLR task standards: Automatic Transmissions; Manual Transmissions; HVAC; Engine Repair; Electrical; Engine Performance; - Brakes; and Steering and Suspension.
