BIA.BIB - New Member Orientation-Board Member Development Opportunities

  • Board members receive no compensation for their services but are paid a per diem of $250 per meeting for a maximum of $500 per month. Board members will receive the per diem and mileage for actual attendance at board meetings.

    Board members may attend trainings or conferences within the limits of the budget and with the approval of the board.

    The district will reimburse board members for all reasonable and necessary expenses incurred in attending meetings, trainings, or conference when on official business of the board or the district. Expenses will be reimbursed based on state rates set forth in policy DKC.
