Curriculum & Instruction Department Overview
The Curriculum and Instruction Department’s primary goal is to support teaching and learning by providing curriculum instruction and assessment, supporting personnel as they engage students to meet state standards, and working to make students college and career ready.
This department works with teachers to ensure state standards are being met by providing resources, instructional materials, instruction strategies, support documents, curriculum guides and resources for all grades and subjects.
Program support is also provided for alternative school programs, transitional programs between grades, summer programs, career technology education programs and advanced academic programs, among others.

Our mission is to support teaching and learning through the continuous development and implementation of comprehensive curriculum and assessment guides that align with current state standards and the district's mission. We are committed to ensuring all students discover and develop their person, purpose, and platform through high-quality educational experiences. By actively engaging all stakeholders, we work to prepare students for college, careers, and beyond, utilizing instructional technology to enhance learning outcomes.

We are committed to providing program support for alternative school programs, transitional programs between grades, summer programs, career technology education programs, advanced academic programs, and co-curricular programs. The Curriculum and Instruction Department will:

- leverage instructional technology to support innovative teaching practices and to provide differentiated learning opportunities.
- prioritize professional development to empower educators, enhance instructional practices, and integrate technology effectively, ensuring every student has the opportunity to achieve excellence.
