Welcome to my page!! My name is Charity Moore, the Dance Teacher here at the Lake! I have been dancing for 21 years now, and I have loved every moment of it!! I believe that everyone can dance because that's what we do before we even learn to walk! In my class students will learn about all types of dances from partner dances, to dances from other countries, and of course contemporary dance styles (Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, etc.). In my class I always encourage my students to push past any obstacles or excuses and just try, as we should do in life! This is why I teach dance, many people don't have access to dance classes from a studio, by teaching in the public school system, people get exposure to a challenging and beautiful art form. This is the 3rd year of my teaching career, I graduated with a B.A. in Dance and a K-12 teaching certification from the great Winthrop University in 2021. I am so proud to be able to say I am teaching here at Lake Marion High School, these students are so talented and ambitious! Please feel free to reach out to me for all your dancing needs!
