Dr. Kathie Stroman

Hi.  I am Kathie Stroman, and I am excited to be at Lake Marion High School.  This is my second year here with the Gators!  My husband and I have been in the Orangeburg community for many years. I enjoy working in the community where I live.  I have been teaching for 27 years and look forward to many more. I love teaching my students with special needs, and we have an exciting year ahead!!

  • I look forward to a year that allows each student to learn and grow in the areas of academics, social skills and employment readiness skills. We will work daily on activities designed to increase knowledge, develop functional skills for independence while embedding those social skills necessary for happiness and success . Each student should come ready to work and do his or her best to accomplish each task presented daily.  Parents should review the day  with the students and celebrate successes daily.
