Finance Department Overview

  • The Finance Department of Orangeburg County School District strives to provide support services to our schools and to district personnel so that our staff can focus on students first. The Finance Department manages all fiscal affairs of the district including accounting, budgeting, purchasing, cash management, capital assets, and risk management. We prepare financial reports for District administration, for our community, and for the Board. We file state and federal grant reimbursement claims. The district's procurement code is in conformance with the state of South Carolina's procurement code for the purchase of all goods and services throughout the District.
