Ensuring Safety For All

Orangeburg County School District appreciates the trust bestowed upon us to protect the health and safety of our community's children. From the moment students board our buses in the morning until the time we bring them home in the afternoon, our number one priority is ensuring their safety. 

In partnership with local law enforcement, School Resource Officers provide on-campus security for Orangeburg's students and staff. Additionally, many schools have upgraded secure entrances and cameras; others will be enhanced as funding resources are available. Our own Security Division provides an additional layer of safety at our schools and ensures our administrators and staff are well-prepared and trained in the event of an emergency.
