ORANGEBURG, S.C. – Orangeburg County School District (OCSD) is proud to announce the appointment of Mrs. Quai Stevenson as the new Assistant Principal of Vance-Providence Elementary School. Ms. Stevenson brings a wealth of experience and a strong dedication to academic excellence, having previously served as the school counselor at Vance-Providence Elementary School.

With an impressive educational background and a passion for nurturing student success, Stevenson is the perfect fit to take on this new leadership role at Vance-Providence Elementary. Her appointment signifies a significant step towards ensuring a thriving learning environment for all students.

Stevenson's journey in education has been marked by remarkable achievements and continuous pursuit of knowledge. Her academic pursuits began at Newberry College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She also holds a Master of Education in Counseling Education degree, and a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling, both from South Carolina State University.
 
Stevenson was an integral part of the inaugural cohort of the prestigious Orangeburg Leadership Academy. This program is designed to cultivate exemplary leaders in the education sector, and Ms. Stevenson's participation reflects her commitment to continuous growth and improvement in her profession.
