“Everybody had to kind of rethink the way that they taught. Teachers automatically monitor and adjust. That’s what we’re known for,” said Desiree Lewis, a second-grade teacher at Rivelon Elementary School and the Orangeburg County 2020-21 District Teacher of the Year.
