As part of his ongoing commitment to transparent communication and stakeholder engagement, Orangeburg County School District (OCSD) Superintendent Dr. Shawn D. Foster is inviting the community to take an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the construction progress of the new Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School.

In a newly released video tour, Dr. Foster personally guides viewers through the transformative construction site, highlighting key milestones, design innovations, and the future-ready spaces that will serve generations of students. This video marks an important moment in OCSD’s efforts to keep the community informed and involved throughout the building process.

“One of the core values I hold in communications is simple: tell people what you’re going to do, keep them updated along the way, and tell them once it’s done,” said Dr. Foster. “This tour represents the middle of that promise — showing our stakeholders exactly how this vision is becoming a reality.”

The new Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School is one of the largest projects under the district’s historic $190 million bond referendum, designed to improve facilities, expand opportunities, and uplift the learning environment across the county. The new building will feature modern academic wings, career and technical education labs, collaborative learning areas, and state-of- the-art athletic and performing arts facilities.

As construction moves steadily forward, OCSD remains committed to transparency, community partnership, and educational excellence.
